Kansas Photographer
Ruth Reynolds grew up on a farm in eastern Kansas. She specializes in photographs of the many wildflowers that are native to Linn County. In addition, she enjoys photographing natural wonders such as sunsets, rivers, and autumn foliage. Because of her interest in history, she has also photographed many of the historic landmarks in Linn County.
Ruth is a graduate of Pittsburg State University where she majored in history. She has spent the past 20 years on the staff of La Cygne Elementary in La Cygne, KS.
Photography has always been one of Ruth’s hobbies, but it wasn’t until April 2004 that she decided to pursue this interest. Since then she has entered several photo contests and art shows and has had some of her photographs published. She is a member of the Heartland Art Guild.
